TC-100 medium is a modified formulation of Grace's insect cell culture medium. The modification was designed to optimize the production of NPV (nucleopolyhedrosis virus) in Spodoptera litura cells. It excludes sucrose, fructose, and several tricarboxylic acid cycle intermediates present in the original formulation.
